These pages are dedicated to my Morris Eight 2-seater which I bought as a student in 1969.   It served as my only means of transport for several years, until I decided to dismantle it in 1976, with a view to restoring it.

Progress was slow for a number of years to due lack of money and family distractions. So it was not until the early 1990s that a big push was made to complete the project.

Thanks to Geoff Whitehouse of Lower Gornal, the car was finally completed in 1996, and has been in regular use since. More recent refurbishment of the bodywork has been carried out by Giles Hume of Future Classics, Rowley Regis, West Midlands (telephone: 07905432569) whose great interest, good humour and dedication are much appreciated!

My objective has not been to produce a concours car, but to produce a car looking exactly as it did a year or so out of the showroom, going about its normal daily duties with a caring owner. I never display any badges!
